Social Responsibility

At IBD, we value our team. We believe in reciprocation and distributing benefits to those who contribute directly and diligently to the achievement of our projects and goals every day. We recognize and ensure the fulfillment of their social and labor rights, as individuals and as a collective, as outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of the United Nations (UN) and the Conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO), as well as in the applicable national general legislation, including the Labor Code. We also commit to implementing the following guiding principles of SA8000, which also serve as a guide in our value chain:

1. IBD does not support or adopt:

  1. Child labor;
  2. Compulsory or forced labor;
  3. Any form of discrimination.

2. IBD ensures to all its collaborators:

d) The safeguarding of treatment with dignity, respect, and equality;

e) Health and safety conditions in their workplaces;

f) Ensuring fair remuneration;

g) Compliance with national regulations and agreements that bind us regarding the maximum number of working hours;

h) The right to freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining.

3. IBD has created a management system to control and analyze all the above aspects and to provide improvement of its practices and indicators.

To enable all Stakeholders to participate in our improvement and communicate their concerns and suggestions regarding Social Responsibility, we have created the following email: provedor@ibd.pt
